Site Changes

Yes, the site has changed again! Trying to accomodate those of you that have been requesting a message board format. Feel free to post away under the new forum section.

Ups and Downs

So last week I lost 6.5 lbs and this week I seem to have gained it all back! Yeah, I was pissed at first. But you know what? I haven’t cheated and maybe I didn’t drink enough water… Though the real issue is likely that I am in freakin’ pain still with sore feet. My ankles and feet are still really swollen. I’m likely retaining water due to the inflammation.

Plantar fasciitis is a total nightmare for people who have to stand all day at work. I got inserts that cost some $600 a few years ago and they helped then making things tolerable for a 24 hour hour work week (or less). After a job where I didn’t have to stand all day and trying to go back to it… no way! Not going to happen. NO one should have to suffer this kind of insane pain. [Read more...]



6.5 More Lbs

Yep, that’s 6.5lbs that I lost this week. Most likely due to all the running around at my new job. A 40 hour week on my feet – walking back and forth across a large store. That’ll do it I’d think. That and not having the time or the energy to cheat even if I wanted to lol.

So go me! Now all I want is some sexy man to rub my feet. My husband is untrainable and has been informed he may soon be replaced with ANYone who will just rub my damn feet for me lol. Epsom bath here I come, again. It really does help.



Something better than nothing

I only lost a mere pound this week. Mostly due to a lack of pizza judgement and the Cookie Incident. Again, I blame my hubby for the cookie temptations and must remember that it is illegal to kill husbands in Canada. You’d still have to clean up after them anyway.

Also found out that my now usual afternoon snack of nuts should also be accompanied with 1 cup of milk or soy milk or cheese. Was skipping the cheese. I feel fuller with the milk anyway and it’ll take me to supper time easily.

I was also advised that if I keep the snacks regular I’ll feel fuller longer AFTER supper as well. So here’s hoping. My usual late nights are mostly managed by drinking more water or having tea, but there’s been some wild panic moments of ravenous hunger lol. Ok mostly in my head and I usually can talk myself down haha!

Anyway, go me for another 1lb of weight loss.



Thursday updates

A week into Metallic Booster and I only lost 1.75 lbs. I was really disappointed. I had been doing SO well. I thought I deserved more weight loss than that for my efforts! But that’s how the cookie crumbles, I guess. And I say that with hate in my heart (lol) because my hubby brought home some oatmeal cookies for a snack and *showed* them to me because “he thought it was something I could have”. Needless to say, after telling him how entirely brilliant his choice was, I sent him on his way. He says he’ll bring them to work so I won’t be tempted.  I am still not very impressed but as you well know, it’s still illegal to kill people in Canada. *mutter* Besides, it’s messy and I’d *still* have to clean up after him lol.

Maybe next week I’ll lose more.
